Requirements

• Technical Skills:Strong handson experience with REST Assured Java preferredGood understanding of Playwright TypeScriptJavaJavaScriptWorking knowledge of GitHub Copilot for automation developmentSolid understanding of REST APIs microservices architecture JSON XML OAuth JWT API gateways etcExperience with API tools like Postman Swagger or InsomniaProficient in CICD tools GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure DevOps GitLab CIStrong Java or TypeScript coding backgroundFamiliarity with contract testing tools eg Pact is a plusKnowledge of performance testing JMeter Gatling is a plus

Responsibilities

• API Testing Automation LeadershipLead the design development and execution of API testing frameworks using REST AssuredDefine the endtoend API testing strategy including functional regression contract integration and performance testingDevelop reusable modular and scalable automation scripts and libraries
• Playwright Automation UI API IntegrationUse Playwright to integrate API and UI test flows where applicableBuild hybrid test frameworks supporting endtoend testingOptimize test execution using parallel containerized or cloudbased solutions
• GitHub Copilot UtilizationUse GitHub Copilot to accelerate test script generation refactoring and documentationMentor team members on leveraging AIassisted development for productivity and quality improvementsEnsure Copilotgenerated code meets coding standards security guidelines and maintainability requirements
• Test Strategy Quality GovernanceDefine and enforce testing standards best practices coding guidelines and QA processesEstablish test coverage goals and ensure thorough validation across microservices and APIsDrive shiftleft testing culture by collaborating with architects and developers early in the lifecycle
