About The Position

The NDT Advanced Services API 653 Inspector is responsible for performing inspections in accordance with API standards designated equipment for purposes of recommending and approving repairs or certifying compliance. This position is based out of a branch or site location and involves both indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere, requiring interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school or other related training preferred.
• Previous industry related experience preferred.
• Must possess valid API 653 certification.
• Must possess valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values and Seven Critical Choices.
• Performs internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of fixed equipment.
• Recommends and approves repairs as well as performs visual inspection of completed repair work.
• Assists in scheduling activities related to inspection.
• Writes detailed inspection and turnaround reports and maintains documentation of inspection activities.
• Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Communicates and deals with customers and other parties in a manner that benefits the professional reputation of the company.
• Completes all required training, including tests, within Company guidelines.
• Performs necessary filing of customer and company job-related forms and paperwork.

Benefits

• Anticipated compensation for this role is $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year plus benefits.
