About The Position

F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic- This position will be part of the Lockheed Martin Greenville Support Operations (GSO) Aircraft Maintenance Team, supporting New Production Delivery of the F-16 at Greenville, South Carolina. Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine trouble shooting. Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft. Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair. The Production Flightline APG, F-16 Technician Level 3 will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include: • Landing gear • Powerplants • Flight controls • Fueling/Defueling • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery

Requirements

  • Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred
  • Clearance at minimum must be in process at time of start
  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training
