The APEX IR Developer position involves planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities while ensuring that software standards are met. The role requires designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business or mission problems using computer language for solutions via data processing equipment. The developer will apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Knowledge of computer hardware and software subject matter is essential for programming business or mission applications, utilizing information processing techniques, and gathering information from system users to develop software. Responsibilities also include correcting program errors, preparing operating instructions, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions regarding program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
