This position is considered Flexible Rotation: The employee will work on a rotational schedule to ensure onsite coverage of key IT functions. As the Team Lead, you will provide both technical and people leadership for a team of analysts responsible for supporting and enhancing Epic Claims applications and peripheral systems. This role blends hands-on application expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality delivery, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. The Team Lead will serve as the primary point of escalation for issues within the assigned applications, oversee enhancement reviews, assist with project scoping, and participate in Epic TS standing meetings. You will guide the team through the complexities of claims workflows, documentation needs, and industry standards, ensuring that software solutions are optimized to meet operational and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to influence without direct authority, and a commitment to supporting the success of both individuals and the broader team. Successful candidates are decisive, collaborative, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $133,300 - $219,500 (Annual Rate).
