About The Position

The responsibilities of the Punch-Out Maintenance position are detailed below. I n this role, the individual should maintai n a positive rapport with co- workers, residents and provide a high level of d etailed follow-up with the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Executive Director . T he Punch-Out Maintenance should display a proactive , positive attitude and perform all job functions as described below.

Responsibilities

• Preparing apartments for move-in
• Performing all necessary maintenance requires including, but not limited to: appliances, disposals, faucets, toilets, windows, doors, screens, flooring, wallpaper, fixtures, hinges, handles, locks, rods and plumbing
• Proficient in applying caulk, grout and wall & ceilings repairs
• Co mmunicating and updating on the punch-out schedule with maintenance, office, housekeeping, painting and shampooing staff to ensure apartment is ready by deadline
• Responsible for comple ting their part to ensure the apartment is ready for occupancy
• Properly mixing and using compounds and chemicals such as glue stripper, drywall mud, bleach, etc.
• Knowledge of using hand tools (putty knives, razor knives, scraper, screwdriver, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Inventory control, maintaining the shop, equipment and golf carts
• Follow all safe workplace rules and practices in order to prevent on-the-job injuries
• Performing other related tasks as needed
