About The Position

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Make Ready Technician who ensures all vacant units are restored quickly and thoroughly to "market-ready" condition. In this role, you will: · Prepare and restore vacant apartments for new resident move-ins · Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance and repairs · Repair or service items such as sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, and fixtures · Change bulbs; replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, and damaged hardware · Inspect locks, keys, and weather stripping; re-key or repair as needed · Complete interior and exterior painting and caulking · Perform light drywall repairs including patching, texturing, sanding and finishing · Assist with grounds upkeep including trash pickup, blowing breezeways, pressure washing, and maintaining clean common areas · Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely unit turn completion · Uphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the community

Requirements

• Prior apartment make ready experience REQUIRED
• Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair abilities
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• The ability to lift 40-50 lbs
• Dependability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
