About The Position

As a Make Ready Technician, you’ll play a key role preparing apartments for new residents by restoring vacated units to top condition and completing repairs in drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, and appliance repair. Requirements

  • Maintenance and Repair experience in Painting, Drywall, Basic Electric, and Plumbing.
  • Availability for on-call rotation evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Driver's license for on-call
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists to be move-in ready.
  • Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, lights, etc.
  • Check faucets, sink plugs, and repair/replace as necessary. Replace washers when needed.
  • Perform exterior repair to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted.
  • Assist with painting and drywall repair.
  • Make new keys when requested.
  • Replace the vacancy lock (if applicable) on the day the lock is changed for the new resident's move-in.
  • Share cleaning and grounds-keeping duties with all the maintenance staff
