About The Position

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance / Turn Technician to join our client’s team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for preparing vacant apartments for new tenants by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. If you possess expertise in maintenance or unit renovations, we would love to hear from you! The position offers an entry-level salary of $18 per hour. This position is temp-to-perm, customer is looking for someone to go permanent. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Proven experience in apartment maintenance or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of repair techniques in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A clear background is required by the customer.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vacant apartments to assess maintenance needs and determine necessary repairs.
Perform repairs and improvements, including painting, drywall work, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Ensure all appliances, fixtures, and systems are functioning properly prior to tenant move-in.
Coordinate and execute the clean-up and turnover of units, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and supplies used.
Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
