About The Position
An Apartment Maintenance Technician ensures the safety, functionality, and appearance of residential units and common areas. Key duties include repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, prepping units for new residents, and responding to work orders. They maintain building systems and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Promptly address tenant maintenance requests regarding electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by painting, cleaning, and performing necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot and fix heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
- Perform light carpentry, drywall repair, lighting installation, and door lock replacements.
- Inspect and maintain common areas, including, but not limited to, cleaning, landscaping, and pool maintenance.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety codes and regulations, reporting any safety hazards to management
