Village Green is seeking a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to join their teams at Element Valley West Apartments in West Des Moines, Iowa. Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
- Strong customer service skills and general computer knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting
- Available for on-call responsibilities
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in plumbing, contracting, builder certification, or related licenses
Responsibilities
- Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
- Appliance repair and replacement
- Painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry
- Preparing apartments for new residents(turns/make-eadies)
- Maintaining building systems and common areas
- Assisting with preventative maintenance programs
- Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
