POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for an Apartment Service Technician to join a small team in charge of upholding the cleanliness and maintenance of apartment buildings. You will be heavily involved in the general maintenance of apartment buildings. In this role, you will need to be professional, and able to work independently and responsibly while observing all health and safety guidelines. Your responsibilities may include painting, cleaning, basic plumbing, and repairs. You should have experience utilizing a multitude of tools and an understanding of basic maintenance issues. Previous experience in apartment maintenance, carpentry, and/or knowledge of HVAC would be an advantage.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
Other than exemptions for religious or medical reasons, employees are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in apartment maintenance, carpentry, and/or knowledge of HVAC would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Other assigned duties
