HIRING - FULL-TIME APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Join our team in Omaha! This hands on job will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and shared on-call. The person for this role will split work between Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartments in Omaha. We're on the hunt for a handy hero who can tackle everything from leaky faucets and painting to appliances on the fritz!. Requirements

2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
Dry walling including painting and carpentry
Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
Problem solving skills
Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

Nice To Haves

Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)
Preferred experience in HVAC and/or boiler system knowledge
Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas

Responsibilities

Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
Exterior structural maintenance as needed
Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
Snow removal (when applicable)
Pool maintenance (where applicable)
Work between Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartment Communities
