About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join their team at the Pines at Southmoor Apartments in Greeley. Monarch Investment & Management Group, established in 1992, is a significant player in commercial real estate, managing over 79,000 apartment units across 25 states, making them the 8th largest multifamily owner in the country. The company also owns and operates Monarch Ski Area near Salida, CO.

Requirements

  • 2+years' experience in general maintenance
  • Dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
  • Knowledge of HVAC and water heaters
  • Have good verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving skills
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
  • A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
  • This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks

  • $21-$26/hrs
  • Yearly raises up to 5%
