HIRING - EXPERIENCED APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN join our team in Omaha at Country Estates Townhomes. This hands on job will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and shared on-call (on-call at this property only). Monarch appreciates and VALUES our people! Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
  • 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
  • Problem solving skills
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
  • Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
  • “A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.

Nice To Haves

  • Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)
  • Preferred experience in HVAC with EPA certification and/or boiler system knowledge
  • Pool experience with CPO certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
  • Snow removal (when applicable)
  • Pool maintenance (where applicable)
