About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our apartment complex. You will work closely with the property manager to ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour. This job is for 24 hours a week. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems (if certified)
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including common areas and grounds
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
