About The Position

The Service Manager manages and supervises the repair and maintenance of property buildings, ensuring the timely installation of mechanical equipment and upkeep of Fairstead’s property to ensure operational effectiveness. This role oversees the operational efficiency of all electrical equipment and mechanical systems through inspection and repair, and ensures that the property’s premises and facilities are kept clean and hygienic in alignment with Fairstead safety policies and standards.

Requirements

Three (3) years experience in property maintenance.
Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
Knowledge and experience using a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.
Great organization and project management skills.
Able to implement and improve policies and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

Being knowledgeable in Yardi Software and Realpage a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervision of other maintenance employees.
Taking a leadership position on special projects.
Perform a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
Work independently on routine projects and receive assistance for more complex projects.
Occasional need to work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
