About The Position
The Facility Maintenance Technician position assists in the overall completion of apartment unit turnover, repairs, renovations, work orders, projects and on call emergencies. The Maintenance Turnover position will be directly responsible for carrying out all duties as assigned by Community Manager and/or Lead Maintenance. Shift Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00 or Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 – 5:00
Requirements
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance/make ready and\or remodeling
- Familiarity with hand and power tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload, multi-task & prioritize
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must pass a background check in accordance to family housing
Responsibilities
- Complete make ready tasks in a timely fashion: dry wall, painting, appliance repair, plumbing, hardware installations, carpentry, and grounds keeping
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Grounds maintenance
- Maintain a high level of safety standards: OSHA, and follow all set guidelines to ensure no damage occurs on the property
- Other duties as assigned
