Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience in construction and renovation field, multi-site experience is preferred. High School or GED is required, Technical School Certification or Equivalent Experience, CFC Certification (minimum Type I & II), CAMT designation is preferred. Role & Responsibilities As the Apartment Construction Technician your responsibilities will include: This is a hands-on position, part of a two-person crew, tasked with completing apartment renovations unsupervised. Report and communicate with supervisor, Project Manager, site management and site maintenance. Assist in renovations being completed by 3 rd party vendors where needed Assist project manager throughout the region. Manage renovation materials inventory. Material delivery to sites or moving materials within a site. Able to develop relationships with onsite staff and can work with 3 rd party suppliers and contractors. Creating initial material take off lists. Walk renovated units, create punch lists, and track completion by 3 rd party vendors. About You You might be a great fit for this apartment Construction technician role if you have: Solid hands-on experience and knowledge of all aspects of maintenance including electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, construction, and carpentry. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of OSHA regulations Valid state-issued driver's license with safe driving record. Must demonstrate the ability to frequently lift, carry and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance and be able to withstand prolonged standing and repetitive activities, to include but not limited to walking, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, and kneeling. Regularly uses hands to manipulate tools, machinery, equipment, and supplies. Ability to travel throughout the regional footprint as required, up to 100%.
