About The Position

You will perform variety of quality assurance tasks to ensure externally sourced products meet the quality and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. Within this role the primary focus will be to collaborate with internal/external parties in the execution of supplier development, assessment and evaluation. You will report to the Supplier Quality EMEA Manager. This is a remote (Bulgaria) job opportunity.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline, technical area or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience required with working knowledge in quality field (Supplier Quality, Quality Programs) in the nuclear industry.
• Experience in quality field in the nuclear industry required with supplier lead auditor experience.
• Working knowledge and application with US NRC Regulations such as 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21; and national consensus standards of quality assurance, such as, ASME B&PV Code, ISO, ANSI ASME NQA-1 Standards preferred.
• Capability of integrating quality / technical knowledge to influence and gain alignment with outside organizations.
• Apply analytical techniques to identify deviations, provide trend data, and suggest recommended solutions to moderately complex quality issues.
• Very good communication skills, ability to communicate technical requirements and regulatory compliance information across language barriers.
• Capability to concisely explain QA procedures to internal personnel and external customers, subcontractors, suppliers and licensees relative to Westinghouse quality related products and services.

• Ability to travel across Europe with a focus on Bulgaria and Poland, this position requires 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in assessments of supplier’s quality management system to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes and standards.
• Support our suppliers to develop Quality Management System following Westinghouse needs for future projects (AP1000 project).
• Evaluate changes to supplier’s quality systems to ensure continued compliance with applicable regulations, codes and standards imposed by Westinghouse.
• Follow-up on supplier corrective action, evaluate responses and ensure objective evidence substantiates closure.
• Maintain and administrate updates in the Qualified Supplier List (QSL) to ensure supplier’s qualification status is reflected.
• Support the US audit team by performing some supplier annual evaluation.
• Participate to internal audit as team member when requested.
