About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging AP World History Tutor to support high school students in mastering course material and preparing for the AP exam. The ideal candidate is passionate about history, experienced in teaching or tutoring, and able to simplify complex topics into clear, structured lessons. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for AP World History students Help students understand key historical concepts, themes, and timelines Assist with exam preparation Develop customized lesson plans based on student needs Track student progress and provide feedback to students Reinforce critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills Qualifications Strong knowledge of AP World History curriculum and exam format Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred Familiarity with College Board AP standards and scoring guidelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to explain complex material in a clear and engaging way Preferred Skills Experience working with high school students Proven track record of helping students improve grades or AP scores Strong writing and editing skills Comfortable using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) Schedule Flexible hours (evenings and weekends preferred) Benefits Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success How to Apply Please submit your resume along with any relevant certifications or test scores, if available.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of AP World History curriculum and exam format
• Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Familiarity with College Board AP standards and scoring guidelines

• Ability to explain complex material in a clear and engaging way
