About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with 2-3 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for processing inventory invoices from our Headquarters, managing external freight and operating expense payables, executing payment runs, and supporting the month-end close process.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3+ years of proven experience with accounting functions, preferably in a distribution or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Background check required after a conditional offer is made, in accordance with applicable laws

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred, as this role involves communication with our Korean-speaking headquarters, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • AP Operations: Accurately process and record high-volume inventory invoices from Headquarters, as well as external freight, logistics, and general operating expense invoices.
  • Vendor & Dispute Management: Serve as the primary contact for external vendors (freight and operations). Review statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or missing invoices.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, and checks) on time. Maintain accurate vendor master files and W-9 records.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and tax regulations (e.g., 1099 reporting, sales/use tax). Assist with audit document preparation.
  • Reporting & Month-End: Manage AP aging reports, reconcile vendor accounts, and support the month-end financial close process using ERP systems.
  • Performing other duties as required.
