AP/CP Pathologist

Pacific Pathology Associates, Inc, a Sonic Healthcare USA company, is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Pathologist to join our dynamic multi-specialty pathology practice located in the beautiful Willamette Valley. This position offers the opportunity to work in a cancer center-affiliated medical center where you will interpret surgical pathology, cytopathology, and other specimens. Our practice serves a wide network, including 5 hospitals and 225 outpatient offices across 17 cities in the Mid-Willamette Valley Region of Oregon. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about pathology and are eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment. As a Surgical Pathologist, you will be responsible for signing out complex surgical pathology cases, and while experience in this area is desirable, we are open to considering recent graduates who demonstrate strong potential. Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty is also preferred, particularly in gastrointestinal (GI) or gynecological (GYN) pathology. An important aspect of this role will be the eventual expectation of medical directorship of an outlying laboratory, which will provide further leadership opportunities within our organization. Candidates must possess a medical degree and be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon. Board certification or eligibility in anatomic and clinical pathology is a requirement for this position.
