Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Receive, review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system. Verification & Reconciliation: Match invoices to purchase orders (POs), verify approvals, and reconcile vendor statements to resolve discrepancies. Payment Processing: Prepare and issue payments (checks, ACH, wires) and manage payment schedules. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate vendor files, update records, and file documents for audits. Communication: Respond to vendor and internal staff inquiries regarding payments. Reporting: Generate periodic AP reports and assist with month-end closing tasks.
