About The Position

Yellowfin Yachts is a leading manufacturer of high-performance offshore fishing boats, known for innovation, craftsmanship, and exceptional quality. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team and support our financial operations. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Enter and maintain vendor information in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process electronic payments, checks, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries.
• Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed.
