The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for performing variance analysis and reviewing various accounts. This position involves processing 3-way match invoices at a fast pace and with utmost accuracy, verifying key purchase order components, and maintaining the company's service level agreements. The AP Associate will need to analyze issues at the vendor level and interpret/process all types of documents received within the A/P department. This role requires a working knowledge of the debit/credit memo process and exceptional problem resolution skills, all while working comfortably in a large ERP environment within a centralized Accounts Payable department.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Intermediate MS Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to perform 2-way/3-way match for invoices.
  • High School education or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must take and pass drug test and consent to a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Perform variance analysis and review of various accounts.
  • Process 3-way match invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify key purchase order components including vendor name, remittance address, branch location, quantity, pricing, and terms.
  • Maintain company's service level agreements (SLA) within 48 hours of receipt of invoice.
  • Carefully enter invoice details to avoid errors.
  • Resolve Accounts Payable reporting and vendor/customer account issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze issues at the vendor level.
  • Interpret/process all types of documents received within the A/P department.
  • Work comfortably and efficiently in a large ERP environment.
  • Protect the organization's confidential information.
  • Comply with the Company's timekeeping policy.
