AOT Parts Specialist I
About The Position
The Agency of Transportation (AOT) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Specialist to support the Northwest region of the AOT Fleet at our Chimney Corners location. This position is responsible for managing stockrooms and maintaining accurate inventory of parts, materials, and supplies used in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, equipment, and tools. Key responsibilities include ordering, receiving, and issuing parts in compliance with Bulletin 3.5, as well as maintaining a computerized inventory system. The Parts Specialist also plays a key role in facility safety by ensuring up-to-date SDS sheets are on hand and conducting routine inspections of fire extinguishers. This role may involve operating equipment such as forklifts and front-end loaders and includes providing training and guidance for other Agency staff.
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of experience in inventory, or in automotive maintenance.
- A current valid driver's license is required.
