About The Position

Job Title: AOG Technician Department: Line Maintenance Reports to: Outstation Line Mx Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  1. Troubleshoot and repair defects of non-scheduled maintenance and complete allreturnto service paperwork. 2. Maintain an at-ready status and be prepared for dispatch to a given assignment. Provide AOG recovery support when needed. 3. Coordinate daily with the Regional Line Mx Manager to define workload and workload planning. 4. Maintain Contact with Line Mx Managementregardingassignments. 5. Forward copies of repair information to Maintenance control as work is completed.  Send original paperwork toaircraftrecords. 6. Provide Technical support to Line Mx as needed via teams, teleconference, research. 7. Monitor current and historical data for chronic or repetitive discrepancies onaircraftsystems. 8. Perform otherduties asassigned by Line Mx Management. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum offive (5)years of experiencemaintainingaircraftofthe same category and classas thoseoperatedby Kalitta Air. Must be appropriately certificated under 14 CFR Part 65 ValidFAA AirframeandPower Plant(A&P)Certificate. Previousexperience inheavy maintenanceoversightand/or vendor managementstronglypreferred. Mustdemonstratestrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other computer-based toolsrequired. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diplomaor equivalent required. Some collegecoursework and/or technical school trainingin aviation maintenance or a related field preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, write,and understand English language.  Ability toprepare routine reports and correspondenceclearly and accurately. Ability toprovide verbal and written directioneffectively to assigned staff and maintenance personnel. Requirements
