About The Position

Serve as an Antiterrorism Force Protection Specialist for the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobility, and Security on Fort Bliss, TX. The position involves managing the Antiterrorism/Force Protection Program, developing policies and procedures for preventing and combating terrorism, and coordinating the implementation of Antiterrorism/Force Protection Plans. The incumbent will also serve as a member of the Force Protection Threat Working Group and advisor to the installation Crisis Management Team.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires a secret clearance.
• TDY of up to 5% may be required.
• One year of specialized experience which includes advising leadership on matters pertaining to force protection and/or antiterrorism, coordinating with agencies to secure full compliance in the program requirements, creating plans to support program requirements, and organizing operations-based exercises.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Antiterrorism Force Protection Specialist working for Chief of Plans Branch, DPTMS, managing the Antiterrorism/Force Protection Program.
• Develops policies and procedures for preventing and combating terrorism.
• Develops detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of the program.
• Coordinates implementation of Antiterrorism/Force Protection Plans.
• Serves as a member of the Force Protection Threat Working Group and advisor to the installation Crisis Management Team.
