About The Position

The anticipated position is for a Special Education Teacher in a self-contained classroom at Valley View Elementary School. The role is tenure track and is expected to start as soon as possible. The teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the support and resources necessary for their academic success.

Requirements

• NJ Certification as Teacher of Students with Disabilities
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
• Proficiency in technology and various educational applications

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Utilize technology and various applications to enhance learning experiences.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
