About The Position

The Ridgefield Park School District is located in southeastern Bergen County. The district consists of four schools, grades Pre-K through 12, and provides high quality instruction to over 2,000 students. This position is for an Elementary Education Teacher covering maternity leave approximately from April 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate and Elementary Education/Elementary School with Subject Matter Specialization Endorsement or eligibility.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.

• Help pupils develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed for continued education.
