The position involves analyzing protection plans submitted by subordinate organizations to provide informed advice on significant trends in protection operations. The incumbent will assist subordinate Anti-terrorism (AT), Physical Security (PS), and OPSEC Officers in developing and monitoring protection plans for effectiveness. Responsibilities also include developing and publishing exercise guidance, coordinating necessary exercise products, and providing support to higher headquarters and subordinate organizations in developing directives and plans related to protection emergency operations and exercises. Additionally, the role requires maintaining the NETCOM Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity Facility (CF) Plans, as well as managing the Mission Assurance Risk Management Systems (MARMS) to track vulnerabilities.
