Lockheed Martin is seeking a full-time Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced systems. This role focuses on anti-tamper solutions and requires a strong understanding of system design, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. The successful candidate will collaborate across various organizations to support the C2BMC Mission, which includes Missile and Space Defense.

  • Design and implement Anti-Tamper (AT) and Defense Exportability Features (DEF) solutions.
  • Engineer complex systems ensuring separation of concerns.
  • Factor confidentiality, integrity, and availability considerations in all phases of the system development lifecycle.
  • Understand and decompose requirements to support implementation, verification, and validation testing of hardware components.
  • Generate detailed, repeatable, automated test procedures and extract data to support analysis requirements.
  • Generate procedures that test functionality.
  • Apply Agile and Lean Product Development principles and train others in a DevOps environment.
  • An active final secret clearance is required prior to starting.
  • Experience designing and implementing Anti-Tamper (AT) and/or Defense Exportability Features (DEF) solutions.
  • Ability to engineer complex systems to ensure separation of concerns.
  • Ability to factor confidentiality, integrity, and availability considerations in all phases of system development lifecycle.
  • Ability to understand and decompose requirements to support implementation, verification, and validation testing of hardware components.
  • Ability to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test procedures.
  • Ability to generate procedures that test functionality.
  • Ability to apply Agile and Lean Product Development principles.
  • Background in all aspects of the system development life cycle.
  • Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence and other open source development tools.
  • Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
