About The Position

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in Anthropology to teach introductory and intermediate courses for the Fall 2025 semester.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Anthropology from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency.
• OR Master's degree in Archaeology, Sociology, History, Egyptology, Social Sciences, or Ethnic Studies and 18 graduate-level credits in Anthropology from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency.

• College teaching experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.

Benefits

• Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour.
• Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
