About The Position

A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine and unique experience to each customer. This role involves initiating genuine conversations, engaging with customers in a personalized way, and ensuring all customers feel welcome, heard, and valued. Sales Associates support a selling environment across the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and offering product suggestions. They provide a frictionless customer experience by utilizing technology for transactions, finding sizes and colors, and placing orders for items not available in store. The role also includes building productive relationships with peers, participating in learning and sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities. Sales Associates contribute to positive team morale, participate in store initiatives, and highlight peers and leaders. They also provide insights related to customer and employee experience and communicate feedback to Store Leadership. Furthermore, the position requires understanding one's contribution to service and selling on every shift to impact the store’s business, supporting the shipment process to gain product awareness, and contributing to omni order fulfillment while maintaining stock levels. Maintaining Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer and staying current on merchandising updates are also key aspects.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Initiates genuine conversation to engage with the customer in a personalized way where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued
  • Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions
  • Provides a frictionless customer experience by utilizing technology to transact in the moment, find sizes and colors, and place orders for items not available in store
  • Builds productive relationships with peers; asks for support when needed and makes an effort to help others
  • Participates in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire the customer
  • Contributes to a positive team morale participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders through the SPARKED journal
  • Provides insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicates feedback to Store Leadership
  • Understands their contribution to service and selling on every shift in order to impact the store’s business
  • Supports the shipment process to gain awareness of product, including what’s new and what’s restock; contributes to completion of omni order fulfillment processes while maintaining stock levels of the floor
  • Maintains Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer; stays current on merchandising updates
