About The Position

Alliant Insurance is hiring an Associate Marketing Consultant for our Futurity First Insurance Group. This position is responsible for providing a wide variety of sales support services to promote the company's product portfolio and develop and support the Sales & Marketing Departments to increase company revenue and profit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• Life & Health Insurance license, required.
• One (1) or more years of general insurance industry or related field experience, required.
• One (1) or more years of experience with Life Insurance and Annuities, required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
• Insurance brokerage and multicarrier experience preferred.
• Experience with Disability Life and Long Term Care Annuity insurance preferred.
• Familiarity with Cannex, Winflex, Annuity Rate Watch, and other industry quoting tools, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company's product portfolio with specialization in product(s) assigned.
• Be familiar with all company-assigned products and services that are related to assisting with educating agents.
• Support field agents with sales tools and concepts to help individual producers with their clients' needs.
• Be prepared to receive general questions and phone calls from advisors and carrier personnel.
• Refer agents to Sales & Marketing Consultants based on additional informational needs, particularly for products outside the scope of the position.
• Develop a Team Roster of producers and develop experience in moving agents into and comply with procedures to protect all hierarchy relationships.
• Update and maintain Contact Management System information and other designated systems in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Update and maintain task list.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff to advance the values and mission of the organization by serving on relevant internal and external committees.
• Assist with special projects/assignments as requested by members of management.
