The Dental Hygiene Annually Contracted Faculty (ACF) member supervises and instructs students in clinic and classroom settings. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, with an emphasis on evening clinic (minimum 3 nights) and external rotation supervision. The ACF ensures safe, ethical patient care, evaluates student performance, provides feedback, and supports students during both onsite and external clinical experiences. This role teaches assigned courses, supervises external rotations, serves as lead instructor in clinic two-three nights a week, maintains student competency records, and collaborates with faculty while adhering to program and accreditation standards. The Annually Contracted Faculty (ACF) position at Columbus State is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. ACFs are typically placed on a one-year, two-semester contract that is renewable each year. CCP-ACFs (College Credit Plus) are typically placed on a two-year contract.
