About The Position

Acorn Stairlifts is seeking an Annual Service Agreement Agent to join their sales team. This role involves making a high volume of outbound calls to existing stairlift owners to promote annual service agreements and serving as the first point of contact for inbound calls to identify customer needs and convert opportunities into sales. The agent is expected to deliver a positive and empathetic customer experience, accurately document all interactions, and partner with the Service department for maintenance issues. The position requires consistently meeting or exceeding established sales metrics, including conversion rates, call volume, and quality standards. It is suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and are motivated by uncapped earning potential while helping customers protect their products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals in a high-volume contact environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle objections confidently and professionally
  • Strong attention to detail while navigating computer systems and documenting updates accurately
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and maintain resilience while working toward measurable results
  • Proficiency with web-based platforms and email applications such as Microsoft Outlook

  • 1–3 years of related sales or call center experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by making a high volume of outbound calls to existing stairlift owners to promote the value of an annual service agreement.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound calls—listening, identifying customer needs, and converting opportunities into sales.
  • Deliver a positive and empathetic customer experience that builds trust and supports long-term relationships.
  • Accurately document all interactions, update customer information, and ensure correct follow-up actions and dispositions.
  • Partner with the Service department when customers report breakdowns or require maintenance.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established sales metrics, including conversion rates, call volume, and quality standards.
