About The Position

Dime Community Bank (Dime) is currently hiring an Annual Review Intern (Part of Commercial Lending Underwriting) for its 2026 Summer Internship Program (see Responsibilities and Qualifications below). During the internship, you will have the opportunity to interact with senior executives and other interns in daily assignments and projects, skill building workshops, networking and volunteering opportunities, and exciting team building events! The Annual Review (Underwriting) Intern will receive a wide variety of training and education on the annual review process, underwriting process, covenants, as well as deposit and loans product. The hourly wage minimum = $17; maximum = $19. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited University/College pursuing degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Business Administration .
  • Eager to learn and handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, in Hauppauge, Long Island.

Responsibilities

  • Performing reviews on commercial loans utilizing an automated system.
  • Gathering and maintaining data from Annual Reviews/Approvals.
  • Researching and testing covenants for Lines of Credit.
  • Performing searches such as Department of State, UCC and OFAC.
  • Performing ad-hoc data requests as needed.
