Annealer Packer - 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
About The Position
SCOPE: Under the direction of the supervisor, workers perform production, maintenance or janitorial duties as assigned to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, yield and Cost goals. Each operator is responsible for an has the necessary authority to ensure quality, including stopping production to correct quality non-conformance. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: Uses appropriate safety measures Uses appropriate measurement equipment and techniques as trained Records and maintains documentation and data as required. Follows applicable work instructions. Uses good housekeeping skills to maintain the work area. Follows directions and instructions of all supervisory personnel. Maintains good relations with co-workers, management and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: Perform duties to assure proper production rate is met (keep up with Annealer). Check quality of tube, make up containers, and pack tubing into containers and place containers on skid. SECONDARY JOB FUNCTION: Remove pads and rails from conveyors. Fill out proper paperwork. Fill hot melt glue applicator. Assure proper quantity of coils/ container, container/skid and band skid. JOB DESCRIPTION: Take samples and degas coils, perform quality check and establish weight per foot from samples. Un-band and re-band coils as required. Pack coils into proper containers. Pack containers onto skid. Assemble Containers per customer requirements. Cap coils as required. Pack the following types of items. Level wind Coils Bulk Pack Reel Pack Commodity Tubing individually packed Master carton Keep assigned machinery and work area neat, clean, and orderly. Follow all safety and shop rules. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
