Annealer Crew Leader - 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
About The Position
SCOPE: Under the direction of the supervisor, workers perform production, maintenance or janitorial duties as assigned to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, yield and Cost goals. Each operator is responsible for and has the necessary authority to ensure quality, including stopping production to correct quality non-conformance. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: Uses appropriate safety measures Uses appropriate measurement equipment and techniques as trained Records and maintains documentation and data as required. Follows applicable work instructions. Use good housekeeping skills to maintain the work area. Follows directions and instructions of all supervisory personnel. Maintains good relations with co-workers, management and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: To coordinate annealer off loading and packaging operation to assure proper production rates. SECONDARY JOB FUNCTION: To act as a team member of the annealer packer crew. JOB DESCRIPTION: Must be able to perform, direct and train others to perform the following functions: Take samples and degas coils, perform quality checks and establish weight per foot from samples. Un band and re band coils as required. Pack coils into proper containers. Pack containers onto skid. Assemble containers per customer requirements. Cap coils as required. Pack the following types of items: (1) Level wind coils – bulk pack and reel pack; (2) Commodity tubing – individually packed and master carton. Keep assigned machinery and work area neat, clean, and orderly. Follow all safety and shop rules. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Weight factors – high to maximum.
- Must work well with other team members.
