Requirements

• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements.
• EKG competency.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree of Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and creativity in managing resources.
• Achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.
• Coach, mentor, and lead a professional and technical team in service delivery.
• Assure quality of care is delivered to patients.
• Demonstrate effective stewardship of scarce resources.
• Support change activities on the unit and assure implementation.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
