About The Position
The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for an Animal Welfare Officer in the Animal Welfare Department. The incumbent performs duties related to impounding and/or containing, reclaiming or adoptions, and euthanization of stray or nuisance dogs or animals.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete the State Euthanization course
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in handling animals preferred
