About The Position
This recruitment will be used to create a pool of part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week during the school year; higher during holidays and summer break) Horse Center Crew Member positions for the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU). This position is for the care and maintenance of horses. Typical duties include cleaning stalls, feeding, watering, and handling of horses. The employee will perform weekly tasks and projects around the Horse Center, as needed. Employees are expected to work every other weekend and partial holidays. Employee must be available to work weekdays between 5:30 am - 8 am. Work is performed in barns and outdoors at the OSU Horse Center located on NW Walnut Dr. in Corvallis, OR.
