About The Position
The San Francisco Zoological Society is a non-profit institution that manages and raises funds for San Francisco Zoo and Gardens. The Society's mission is summarized as the 3 c's: to connect our visitors with wildlife so that they care about nature and ultimately conserve it. The Society employs animal care professionals, including animal keepers, who are responsible for the care, welfare, and safety of animals and their habitats. An Animal Keeper is expected to provide information to Zoo visitors and further the Society's mission.
