About The Position
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is currently recruiting for an Animal Control Officer in the Kingman, AZ location. Performs journey level work in assuring and enforcing the city, county and state ordinances and procedures relating to animal control by patrolling assigned area, impounding animals, issuing citations and responding to calls and complaints and participating in the care of animals. Work is performed under general supervision of a higher level of authority and the incumbent has the responsibility for independently completing assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner and in accordance with prescribed codes, ordinances, regulations and procedures. Work is reviewed through observation and evaluation of work performance, tasks completed and reports filed by the incumbent.
