About The Position
The Animal Welfare Officer position is a safety-sensitive role under the supervision of the Animal Welfare Supervisor. The incumbent will perform duties related to the impounding, containing, reclaiming, adoptions, and euthanization of animals, as well as maintenance at the shelter as needed. The work varies and may require interpretive judgment within established guidelines, procedures, and standards.
