About The Position
The Animal Control Officer 2 is responsible for patrolling assigned areas within Nashville-Davidson County to provide animal control services. This includes responding to calls for assistance, rescuing and apprehending stray animals, and investigating animal-related violations of local or state laws. The role requires interaction with law enforcement agencies and the public, as well as maintaining records and reports related to animal control activities.
