About The Position
The Animal Caretaker position at our facility involves providing essential care for pets in our boarding and daycare services. We are looking for a reliable and responsible individual who is eager to join our team and is motivated to learn and grow within our business. While prior animal care experience is beneficial, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent care. This role is crucial in ensuring that our boarding and daycare pets receive the attention and care they need during their stay with us. The primary responsibilities of this position include feeding the animals, maintaining cleanliness in their living areas, providing enrichment activities to keep them engaged, and interacting with clients during drop-off and pick-up times. The job requires a flexible schedule, as shifts will vary between our operating hours of 7 am to 7 pm, and candidates must be available to work on weekends and holidays. We offer competitive wages starting at $13.00 per hour, along with opportunities for advancement and professional development through certifications and industry-related courses. This part-time position typically requires 8 to 16 hours of work per week, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the pet care field while contributing to a caring environment for animals.
