The Animal Care Technician (ACT) functions as an expert in providing basic care for the animals at LFACC. The ACT is responsible for maintaining a sanitary, humane environment and providing basic care for the animals with compassion and dedication. All applicants must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must have a flexible schedule, be available to work 25-29 hours each week. Must be available to work weekend days. Typical shifts are morning shifts (8:00a-1:00p) five days a week, and flexibility to work full shifts (9a-6p) as needed is preferred. We cannot guarantee a set schedule, but new schedules are available 1 week in advance. WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
